Therefore, the process typically consists of selecting from existing serial or lot numbers. Post the transfer order, first ship and then receive, to record that the items are transferred carrying their item tracking entries.
When you use functionality to get posted receipt or shipment lines from related invoices or credit memos, then any item tracking lines on the warehouse documents are transferred automatically, however, they are processed in a special way. In these situations, the existing item tracking lines are copied automatically to the invoice or credit memo, but the Item Tracking Lines window does not permit changes to the serial or lot numbers. Only the quantities can be changed.
Choose the icon, enter Purchase Invoices , and then choose the related link. In the Get Receipt Lines window, select a receipt lines that has item tracking lines, and then choose the OK button. The source document is copied to the purchase invoice as a new line, and its item tracking lines are copied to the underlying Item Tracking Lines window.
On the Lines FastTab, choose the Line action, and then choose the Item Tracking Lines action to see the transferred item tracking lines. The contents of the Serial No.
However, you can delete complete lines or change the quantities to match changes being made on the source line. Reclassifying item tracking for an item means changing a lot or serial number to a new lot or serial number or changing the expiration date to a new expiration date.
If you are working with lots, you can also merge multiple lots into one. You perform these tasks using the item reclassification journal. Choose the icon, enter Item Reclass. Journal , and then choose the related link. Fill in the line with the relevant information. In the Serial No. If you want to enter a new item tracking number, enter it in the New Serial No. If you want, you can merge one or more lots to one new or existing lot.
Be aware that when you reclassify expiration dates, then the items with the earliest expiration dates for outbound transactions are suggested first. If you would like to enter a new expiration date for the serial or lot number, enter it in the New Expiration Date field. If you are reclassifying a lot to the same lot number but with a different expiration date, you must reclassify the entire lot, using one item reclassification journal line.
If you are reclassifying more than one lot to one new lot number, meaning that you are merging more than one lot into one new lot, you must enter the same new expiration date for all the lots. If you are reclassifying one existing lot to a second existing lot that has a different expiration date, you must use the expiration date from the second lot. If you leave the New Expiration Date field blank, the lot or serial number will be reclassified with a blank expiration date.
If you have existing information on the old serial or lot number, you can copy it to the new serial or lot number. If you want to modify the existing information for the lot or serial number, you can record lot or serial information. Post the journal to link the renewed item tracking numbers or expiration dates to the associated item ledger entry. Skip to main content. This browser is no longer supported.

Note To use item tracking numbers in warehouse activities, the Lot Warehouse Tracking and SN Warehouse Tracking setup fields must be selected, as they define the special principles in handling serial and lot numbers in warehouse activities. Note Be aware that when you reclassify expiration dates, then the items with the earliest expiration dates for outbound transactions are suggested first.
The serial interval represents the time between symptom onset for both the infector and the infectee in a transmission chain 3. On the basis of line-list information, we reconstructed the transmission pairs by identifying the infector and infectee. We identified 3, transmission pairs 1, pairs in period 1 and 2, pairs in period 2 having the date of symptom onset for both infector and infectee.
The overall mean of the serial interval estimate was 3. The mean serial interval estimate were 3. To identify the potential changes in SARS-CoV-2 transmissibility, we estimated the time-varying effective reproductive number R t , which defines the mean number of secondary infectious cases generated from a typical primary infectious case at time t.
The epidemic becomes under control if R t falls below 1 sustainably. We estimated R t by using the EpiEstim package in R 5. In South Korea, nonpharmaceutical interventions including a nationwide mask mandate have been implemented since Because a large number of COVID cases were identified by mid-July , a 4-person limit for gatherings was implemented beginning July 19, , nationwide 6 Figure 1 , panels B and C.
Figure 2. Risk for superspreading events for coronavirus disease during the Delta variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 predominance in South Korea.
Joint estimates of k and R To analyze superspreading potential, we identified 5, transmission pairs that included the COVID cases for which no date of symptom onset was provided for either infector or infectee 2, pairs for period 1 and 3, pairs for period 2.
We calculated the number of secondary cases for each person from the transmission pairs and fitted the data into a negative binomial distribution 7 Appendix. The 2 parameters of the distribution represent the reproduction number R 0 and overdispersion parameter k.
The estimated k for period 1 was 0. We estimated the serial interval distributions of SARS-CoV-2 for early and later periods of the Delta variant predominance in South Korea and identified that mean serial intervals were similar across 2 different periods. This similarity is consistent with a recent study suggesting no substantial differences in the serial intervals between patients infected with the Delta variant and wild-type virus 8.
In contrast, however, our findings suggested that the mean serial interval was 1 day longer than the estimates reported in a study describing the faster spread of the Delta variant in China mean serial interval of 2. Changes to public health measures, such as active contact tracing and rapid isolation of COVID patients, would have shortened the serial interval and reduced transmissibility and superspreading potential 3 , 4.
Since June 10, , however, the South Korean public health authority has consistently implemented strategies for active case finding and immediately isolating laboratory-confirmed COVID patients and exposed persons by using digital QR codes Therefore, the effect of enhanced case isolation against the serial interval of SARS-CoV-2 is likely limited in our study. Furthermore, restricting large gatherings had likely reduced the superspreading potential.
Second, we did not consider changes in nonpharmaceutical interventions on the local level and possible increased travel during the study period, because it included summer holidays. Enhanced social distancing, however, including limiting gatherings to 4 persons, was in place nationwide during the study period. Third, we retrieved online case reports, which could contain some inaccuracies. However, the daily number of laboratory-confirmed local cases was similar between the collected line list and official daily reports Appendix.
Last, because individual genotype information was not included in the line-list data, the proportion of the Delta variant was evaluated from alternative data retrieved from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency. The large number of COVID cases in South Korea during the study period could be explained by the increased secondary attack rate generated by cases of the Delta variant 13 , 14 , which is in line with a previous study 8.
