Note: We know websites by their human-readable domain names like Google. Incognito mode or private browsing forgets your browsing data, including cookies, cache, auto-fill forms, and so on. Thus, it could let the login page load successfully. Incognito mode is available regardless of the browser you are using, be it Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. And Windows may have stored the old info in its DNS cache. Note: As already explained in Fix 6 above, DNS servers are responsible for converting domain names like www.
It is basically a memory of recent DNS lookups that your computer can refer to when trying to determine how to load a website. This is done via Command Prompt. Windows Firewall keeps your PC safe from threats by filtering network data transmissions. It blocks malicious communications and programs that initiate them. But it could be the reason why you are unable to access the login page of the public Wi-Fi. Try disabling it to know for sure. Auslogics Driver Updater diagnoses driver issues and lets you update old drivers all at once or one at a time to get your PC running smoother.
We recommend you use Auslogics Driver Updater to handle it automatically. The tool will read your PC specs and then perform a full scan to detect outdated, missing, incompatible, or corrupt drivers on your PC. Ask anyone around you if they are having the same issue. If so, consider reporting it to the management so that they can troubleshoot it from their end. The router may simply need to be restarted. Click OK to accept cookies and continue. BT Wifi shows up on my phone but I can't log in, I've used the same BT login credentials for years and they work fine on this computer, but the phone rejects them.
Later on when I had time I reset the network on the phone and my home outer reappeared, but I wanted to get the BT Wifi working as I thought I was able to use that away from home and didn't realise I couldn't log into it. Any ideas, please? Couple of phone shots attached to illustrate. Login to your router settings and ensure the settings are correct for the secondary BT WiFi profile. Hi all, thanks for these replies some of which I hadn't seen as I did solve the problem which was with the Android BT Wifi app.
Because my BT account is very old, my BT ID was not my BT e-mail address, and so while Windows allowed login to BT Wifi using an ID which is not an e-mail address, the app does not and repeatedly threw out my login attempts as 'invalid credentials' because my ID was not my e-mail address.
They told me how to change my BT ID, which I did not previously know was possible, and doing so fixed the issue. This website uses cookies. By clicking Accept, you consent to the use of cookies.
